Abstract

As Kutztown’s Watermark Support assistant, one of my responsibilities was to instruct professors, cooperating teachers, and students on the usage of the school’s accreditation assessment platform.

The Challenge

As these presentations were to be offered to users on opposite ends of the platform, the inherent challenge was to prepare training that worked in parallel to teach both students and evaluators the skills necessary to effectively use the Watermark assessment platform.

The Solution

Working with another member of the office, I prepared a “skeleton training” – an outline of necessary skills, regardless of the user’s role on the platform. Any procedures that were common were filled out in this outline, from which the divergent training documents were produced.
